Customer Survey Results


First and foremost, we at Roca would like to thank everyone that participated in our first feedback survey! We’ve learned a lot and are using your feedback to directly fuel our priorities and continue to shape the Roca experience. 

Read below to see how we are growing our team and implementing changes to ensure that Roca continues to be your trusted partner for TCG recognition and automation.

  • Improving Card Sort Accuracy 

Many of you mentioned that accuracy of the sorters was a significant area of opportunity. We hear you and we have good news! 

We are excited to share that the growth of the engineering and software team also allows us to tackle recognition and software issues at a much faster rate. For example, we recently pushed major changes to Pokémon which allowed for a 20% increase in set detection. We rely on your feedback to make these improvements, so please continue to communicate to customer support with the issues and changes you would like to see!

  • Enhancing Customer Support

Our customer support team was glad to hear your positive feedback and desire for continued engagement! We are working hard to leverage our strong support team and to expand our capabilities to even better serve you.

We've taken steps to improve our support response time with a new support desk system. This allows us to better track and address issues, enhancing our ability to support you efficiently. It also helps us internally gauge and continuously improve our response times. 

We are also growing our support team, which will greatly help in assisting you with your questions and issues!

  • Supporting More TCGs

We’re happy to hear that you’re excited to use your Roca sorters for a variety of games!

You asked and we listened. At GAMA we announced the release of Disney Lorcana as a supported TCG! Lorcana support is expected to become available starting on April 2nd.

As we continue to progress and expand, we’re focusing on supporting more TCGs. Since we’ve grown both our engineering and software teams, we’re now equipped to support new games at a rate much faster than before.

  • Updating Content & Resources

We want to provide you with more easy-to-find information about what’s in the works, what you can look forward to, and resources to improve your experience. We have lots of information to share and want to make sure we stay engaged and connected with you!

We introduced some user experience improvements by completely revamping our website to include updated product information and demos, a blog focused on updates, and helpful FAQs. We also introduced some improvements to our Roca app UI for more clarity in sort descriptions.

Roca is also working on developing a customer maintenance plan for sorters as well as informational videos and tutorials which will be introduced in the future on our Zendesk Knowledge Base. Customer Support will reach out when these items are available for use.
